ONYX Pole Series: Inverts - Shoulder Mounts & Handsprings

Description:

Ready to elevate your pole journey? Whether you're aiming to learn, condition for, or perfect your shoulder mount or handspring, this series will help you dive deep into the anatomy and technique of these impressive inversions!

In the "Inverts: Shoulder Mounts & Handsprings" series, students will work on conditioning exercises tailored specifically to these inversions. You’ll also learn different entrances and exits, grips, progressions, combos, and variations.

Been practicing these inverts for a while? This series offers personalized coaching to meet you where you are on your pole journey. You’ll receive tailored feedback on form, explore your favorite shapes (like Brass Monkey and Ayesha variations), and discover how to use different grips to build out combos and flows, helping you progress even further!

New to these inverts and wondering if this series is for you?
Even if you're not yet confident in your ability to execute these moves, you'll still benefit from learning and practicing conditioning exercises to build strength and technique. You might be surprised at how your body responds to the shapes!

***Prerequisite:
Students should be able to perform a basic inversion without a spotter, even if the execution isn't consistent or perfectly clean.

 

Series Schedule & Highlights:

Nov 7:
Anatomy of Handsprings and Shoulder Mounts, grip variations, and on-and-off-pole conditioning exercises.

Nov 14:
Shoulder Mounts: Conditioning, form, and progressions. Explore entrances into climbs, shapes, and spins (where applicable).

Nov 21:
Handsprings: Conditioning, form, progressions, and integration of shapes & combos.

Dec 5:
Handsprings & Shoulder Mounts: Conditioning and open practice time in both spin and static modes. Receive individualized coaching and feedback, with suggested next steps for continued progression.

 

Cost:

$95 for all four classes (ONYX Members receive 25% off with code: SERIES25).
*Can’t make all four sessions? No problem! As long as you can attend at least two of the four classes, you’re welcome to join. Please email kelly@onyxhealthstudio.com to confirm which dates you'll attend.

Capacity: 10 students.
To ensure effective teaching and individual attention, the series is capped at 10 participants. But don’t worry—similar series will be offered in the future!
